Getting to Villas Jacquelina Bed and Breakfast Quepos Costa Rica

Airport san Jose Costa Rica This is a blog post is for guests visiting Villas Jacquelina Bed and Breakfast Quepos Costa Rica. If your visiting our B&B, you are most likely flying into San Jose airport.   From San Jose international there are many ways to get to Villas Jacquelina.

Private airport pick-up

The easiest way to get to Quepos from San Jose international airport is to organize a private pick up. Villas Jacqueina can normally organize your private pick up for less than it would cost to jump in a red cab from the airport.  A transport for 2 people is normally around $140 and can get a little more pricy if you add  people to the car. Taxi from the airport to Villas Jacquelina

Taking a private cab from the airport to Villas Jacquelina is the second easiest way to get to Villas Jacquelina but it is normally more expensive.  If you choose to cab to Villas Jacquelina, make sure you negotiate the cost of your ride before getting into a cab. A cab from San Jose airport to Quepos or Villas Jacquelina should cost between $150-$200 depending on how many people are in the cab and what time of day or night it is. A cab for 2 people should cost no more than $160.

Airport to Bus Station - Bus to Quepos

If you plan to travel by bus to Quepos, the first step is to get to the Tracopa bus station located in central San Jose. The cheapest way to do this is to take a city bus into the city and then walk or cab from central San Jose to the Tracopa Bus station. The bus ride from the airport to San Jose should be no more than a few dollars, and a cab from central San Jose to the Tracopa should cost between $3-$10 depending on how close the city bus dropped you.  If you want to make this process easier, take a cab from the airport directly to the Tracopa Bus Station. From the Tracopa Bus station, it is best if you jump on a direct bus to Quepos /Manuel Antonio.  The direct bus costs around $9 and should take about 3 and 1/2 hours. You can also jump on a collectivo bus but it will normally take an extra hour or two.
