Hotels Manuel Antonio Costa Rica - Getting around

The way Manuel Antonio is designed makes it somewhat difficult to get around if you are a tourist without a car. Manuel Antonio is essentially a long (7km) mountainous road that  is very steep at many points and has no sidewalks. The road leads you through the thick of the Jungle and all along the road are beautiful hotels, hostels, bed and breakfasts, restaurants, and Vacation Rentals. There is one area (by the soccer field) that is the closest thing to a city center for the area. That area has a wide variety of  food options, a main grocery store (Super Joshef) and a couple hostels and hotels. If you are a tourist visiting the area and don't have a car, do not worry. Manuel Antonio and Quepos have a reliable bus system that leaves from the center of Quepos every 15-30 minutes depending on the season. The buses do one simple rout that travels from central Quepos to the end of Manuel Antonio (near the national park) and back to Quepos in the time span of around 45 minutes.
