Manuel Antonio Nightlife (Quepos)
Nightlife in Quepos can be fun but usually doesn’t heat up until late in the evening (11pm-1am). The town is similar to a ghost town around 9pm but heats up around 12 when the party crowd moves from Manuel Antonio nightlife to Quepos due to a noise ordinance that prohibits music and parting from disturbing the wildlife and hotel guests in the area.
The late nightlife scene in Quepos, Costa Rica will not disappoint, and offers something for everyone. Quepos is home to an eclectic mix of local dives, casino’s, tree house bars, and more upscale clubs can be found. The center of Quepos, is home to some popular more Americanized dive bars, Wacky Wanda’s and Pescadores, that will be filled with Ex-Pats and familiar bar bites and fare. Sargento Garcia’s is where you will encounter more of a dance vibe and taste of Costa Rican culture, they also offer a various happy hour and drink specials. If you are looking to try your luck you can visit the Kamuk Casino for free drinks whilst gambling, located on the waterfront. If you are searching for a more lounge/ club vibe head over to newly re-opened Repubilik Bar or Musik, here higher end cocktail selections, DJs and lots of dance music will be experienced.
Manuel Antonio Nightlife
For some salsa dancing in a cool jungle atmosphere Bambu Jam is the place to be. Several nights during the week Bambu Jam will host live music and of course dancing, and the location can’t be beat, located on the road to Manuel Antonio Bambu Jam gives you the feeling of partying in a tree house. Continuing on the road to Manuel Antonio Mar Luna is the place to go for late night happy hour, 9pm-12am, Incredible coconut margaritas and the best daiquiris in town can be had here along with a variety of other 2 for 1 drink specials. Barbara Roja Is a cool spot to cruise to for some drinks, live music and made to order sushi from their in house sushi chef.
Continuing down the road to Manuel Antonio, Byblos is the spot to check out for drinks, dancing, billiards and gambling. Located directly overlooking the beach, LSol is the place to go for drinks with an ocean view, the also have a great roof top deck for some stargazing. During high season EL Sol will host occasional beach bonfires and ladies night where ladies drink for free. . Just as 3am comes around if you still haven’t had your fill or are ready to turn in heading back down the hill to Quepos the Disco will be opening and just starting to get lively and the party won’t stop till 7am.
