Our Villa in Costa Rica

Our Treehouse-Style Hotel
Hosting a variety of canopy level open air terraces, an exuberant garden that extends into bedrooms, and many comfortable hammock hangouts, our villas were designed to make guests feel like they are staying in a tree-house.
Breakfast
Our California chef inspired breakfast menu mixes traditional Costa Rican ingredients delivered with a classic American twist. Book directly on our website for more than one night to receive free breakfast on you first morning. A $8 per person value.
Beds, Pillows, & Linens
An excellent nights sleep is the best thing we can offer our guests. To help you get the most of your resting hours, we offer high quality comfortable mattresses, 2 queen sized pillows per guest, 100% cotton sheets, and black out shades on most windows.

Start your morning with guided sunrise meditation, join a morning yoga class ($10), meet us on a rooftop for a movie night or join us for an exercise walk through our beautiful city. See our activities board (in reception) to see what activities are happening during your stay. Most activities are free to our guests!
Swimming Pool
Located on the ground level of the Villas, find our refreshing jungle swimming pool. Our quaint pool is surrounded by plants and includes a variety of hammocks and comfortable seating.
Co-working Space and Wifi
With a 200MBPS wifi network distributed throughout the hotel using multiple Netgear range extenders, digital nomads and remote workers can find multiple quiet working areas distributed throughout our common areas.
Wildlife
Just 2km from central Quepos, our jungle location is off the beaten trek and visited by a variety of natural wildlife. Keep your ears open for the Scarlet Macaws that fly by every morning and evening. Titi Monkeys, toucans, iguanas, frogs, geckos, and a variety of colorful tropical birds are regularly spotted from our canopy level terraces.
Jungle Gym and Group Workouts
Stay fit while on vacation with our rooftop jungle gym, complete with weights, TRX rings, exercise bands, yoga mats, and more. Guests enjoy this hotel amenity at no extra charge. Check out our activities board (in reception) to join a group workout.
Jungle Spa Services
Relax and enjoy our one hour signature hot and cold river stone massage. This massage stimulates the senses and includes stretching, deep tissue oil massage, and the use of hot and cold river stones to first warm and then cool your muscles.

Whether you're trying to save money or just prefer to cook your own meals, enjoy using our fully stocked communal kitchen at no additional cost. (closed for breakfast hours)

Our Villas are just 15 minutes walking from central Quepos where you can find grocery stores, restaurants, and banks. Even closer are some of our
favorite Quepos restaurants. Our location is perfect for anyone wanting to exchange city noise pollution for the exotic sounds of the wild jungle and tropical birds.

Family owned and ran
When you stay with us, you become part of our family. The Acedo family built Villas Jacquelina in 2009 and it is still family owned and operated to this day.
Free Parking
Villas Jacquelina offers free guest parking located directly in front of our Hotel. Our parking area has security lights and cameras but is not enclosed from the street. Theft or damage to vehicles is extremely limited or non-existent.

From San Jose, you can fly to the Quepos airport, located about 10 minutes away from Quepos. Sansa Airlines & Nature Air run several flights a day. From the airport, you can take a private taxi to Villas Jacquelina for around $10.
how to get here
While there are no direct flights from San Jose to Quepos, Costa Rica, there are different ways to travel between them that are satisfactory for every budget. The first way to get to Quepos from San Jose is by renting a private car and making the drive yourself. The distance is about 177 kilometers and the drive can take up to 2-3 hours depending on the traffic. If you do drive yourself, make sure to add a quick stop by Tarcoles River to check out the famous crocodile bridge - you don’t wanna miss out!
Catch a national bus to the Quepos bus terminal. Once there, you are a twelve-minute walk or a 3-minute ($4) taxi ride away. If you choose to walk from the central bus station, start by walking west toward the ocean. You should quickly hit calle 2. Follow calle 2 northeast all the way to Villas Jacqueline. A map is helpful to keep you on calle 2
