Ape Eclectic Social Bar - Manuel Antonio

With a nice elevated location above Super Pura Vida in Manuel Antonio, Ape eclectic social bar is a gem for electronic music lovers and anyone who loves to dance and party. This lively location fills with high-energy dance music regularly mixed by local Dj's and they serve delicious bites, craft cocktails, and some of the best vibes in Manuel Antonio. Their location is ideal, right in the heart of Manuel Antonio with an atmosphere that exudes positive vibes and great energy. Try their well-priced whisky sour made with egg white or any of their delicious tapas. Love is love at this electric establishment as it has become a regular hub for the LGBTQ+ community.

Located halfway up Manuel Antonio’s hilly main road, La Colina hosts live music multiple times per week and is one of the most happening spots in the area. This Steak House restaurant is all outdoors and serves delicious steak, pizza, and seafood cooked on a wood-fired grill. They make their own beer and have a delicious sangria for only 1000 colones a glass.

With an incredibly versatile atmosphere, Tentaciòn is more of a café by day and restaurant bar by night. This colorful, inviting space is conveniently located near the Malecon in central Quepos and features delicious local cuisine, great service, and amazing vibes with their weekly live music in downtown Quepos.

Yolo - Manuel Antonio

Hosting a large outdoor patio bar with games, lights, and regular music, Yolo is a reactively new bar in Manuel Antonio and has quickly become a hub for live music. They have a full bar, a fun atmosphere, and a full food menu. When they opened they had axe throwing, but it was shut down by the local municipality. Hopefully they will get the correct permits and reopen it soon. They say they have live music nightly, but it is suggested to call or visit their facebook to confirm.

Best Waterfall tour in Costa Rica - Full Day Waterfall Adventure with Paddle 9 If you are spending some time in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area of Costa Rica and want to see (and jump off of) some of the area's magnificent waterfalls- then a full day waterfall tour is well worth it! Here is an outline of my full day waterfall tour with Paddle 9: I started my day with delicious breakfast at Villas Jacquelina , my eco hotel here in Quepos. After finishing breakfast, I was picked up by my guides directly at my hotel. I was immediately introduced to all the guides and the rest of my group, a family, an elder couple and a younger couple. This warm introduction made me feel very welcome, as I was traveling solo. The tour consists of 3 waterfalls, a lunch, and a beautiful beach stop to end your day. The drive is about an hour to the first waterfall, during which, the guides gave detailed information about the area, its history, and extensive knowledge about its wildlife and agricultural traits. This made the drive very pleasant, along with the stunning views along the coastal road.
