I stayed one week at the amazing Villas Jaquelina in Quepos, an authentic treehouse Airbnb gem!! It was one week of Pura Vida!!!
The Villas have 12 rooms and 3 apartments, 2 share kitchenettes, two rooftops with wonderful views, a pool to relax in after a day in the hot sun, and a really lovely staff with a dog named Leo. Staying in this incredible airbnb in Quepos felt like living in a modern day treehouse by mixing modern day luxuries with stunning tree canopy views and exotic wildlife.
I was looking for a place that could offer me a real and unique experience surrounded by the jungle, animals, and a million dollar view, and here I have definitely found the room of my dreams: a stunning, large, open-air space surrounded by nature and located on the top floor of the villas.
The treehouse Airbnb apartment is named the “Birds Nest Experience” and i'm not surprised by the name, in fact, you are up at the level a birds nest and fly with a breathtaking views of jungle and mountains.
My room had an open-air kitchenette, hanging hammock chairs, and hanging beds with mosquito nets that can sleep up to 5 people. This penthouse apartment perched at the top of the hotel had a full dinning area with a dinning table, plants everywhere, and an amazing outdoor bathroom/shower that I really loved. It was wonderfully private. I only heard the sounds of the jungle and the elements.
My experience was unreal! Every day my alarm clock was the music of the jungle, guided by the chirping of birds and feeling the warmth of the first rays of the sun. Spending the day surrounded by the jungle helped me reconnect with myself but above all with mother nature. I was lucky enough to see toucans, hummingbirds, scarlet macaws, and monkeys.
My favorite part of the day was the sunset! After a hot day, the sunset comes as a relief and you can feel the cool oceans breezes and seeing a mix of oranges, reds, purples, pinks, and yellows in the sky that makes a breathtaking view and that moment so special thanks to the sounds of the jungle.
Overall, my stay at Villas Jacquelina was perfect. The host, Esteban, is very friendly and helpful. Also Yara took such of good care of me, cleaning my room and making delicious breakfast everyday! If you are planning a trip to Quepos, don't miss the opportunity to stay at this authentic treehouse airbnb!!
Pura Vida!
