Before my arrival at this eco-hotel in Quepos, I was quite curious and nervous at the same time, as I was supposed to stay there for one whole month. I already have felt happy with the nearby location of the lodge after checking it In Maps. It was only 15 min of walking from Central Bus Station of Quepos! I think all backpackers value easy-reachable accommodations.
Zach, one of the owners of VJ met me with great positive vibes around him and invited me to have fresh coconut water-Costa Rican “Pipa”.OMG!So sweet and refreshing after a long way. After he explained to me that the coconuts are just from the backyard of the hotel and showed me beautiful Palm trees.I felt like I was in a coco paradise as they are my favorite fruits.
I noticed that this
eco hotel in Quepos is full of green. Not only from outdoors but only inside with tons of indoor plants all over this eco hotel. Everything around was feeling so alive.
Imagine yourself waking up with the songs of the birds and the smell of nature. Only going out of the room and seeing a beautiful view of the outdoor world can heal anybody’s soul.
Now let’s talk about everybody's favorite part of the day-the breakfast time! I woke up early and with a big curiosity to try the breakfast that modern treehouse serves as I am a big addict of morning meals. So every day the local chef prepares different types of nutritional healthy breakfast menus. You will never get bored of eating the same things all day. Apart from that, all used products are locally sourced often from organic farms. All for our self-love. On Sunday's breakfast menu was traditional “Costa Rican “Gallo Pinto” with freshly picked fruits. I called this breakfast “champion’s breakfast”. As it carries all the nutritional ingredients like eggs, beans, and organic veggies. Thanks to the local chef for making my stomach and body happy!
Zach was treating me and everyone super kind and friendly. He was making everyone feel like in their dream house. They even have a special “Help” button for being always attentive and helpful to visitors’ questions even out of working hours! I was impressed with easy access to everything.
Another important thing for me was internet connection as I work online quite a lot. Wireless internet was working even better than I was expecting! Even the lodge has several floors, a pool, and a terrace everywhere I walked my internet connection was working super fast. A good tip to all digital nomads
I was passing a lot of time in Villas Jacquelina. My heart was filling with peace seeing sunrise view with passing by birds and evening sunsets next to pool on bohemian hammocks. Apart from my routine, there were other activities organized in hotel-like movie nights, yoga, eco-gardening in the organic backyard, art sessions, etc. Such creative content for hospitality.
It was an amazing chill place also for practicing my yoga in the heart of nature without leaving my hotel.VJ provides all the guests with training equipment. Apart from that, all the people staying in the hotel were super friendly, kind, and social. I have made a lot of international friends. I was feeling super safe and surrounded with good energy all the time.
Now I would love to talk a little bit about the best part of my favorite Villas Jacquelina! Welcome to Bird’s Nest!
When Zach took me upstairs to show me this magical spot on top I was completely amazed by the view that my eyes just have witnessed. It was something I was seeing for the first time in my life. Green, eco-friendly and
open-air panorama room with breathtaking scenery. I think waking up in “Bird’s Nest” can be a superficial spiritual treat for everyone. I felt completely balanced with nature and full of inner harmony. Just check this extraordinary design of hanging beds, vintage furniture, jungle plants, surfboard walls, and extraordinary bathroom!
If you are in Costa Rica, you should come and spend at least one night in the radiating Villas Jacquelina.
Thanks for making me feel like I was staying in my dream house.
Pure life !
Lots of love and peace to all the readers
