At Villas Jacquelina, our number one priority is to make you feel at home. With our 2 fully equipped kitchens, as well as two jungle view terraces to enjoy your meal on, you might find yourself feeling so comfortable you’ll never want to leave! 

Kitchen Hours and Breakfast Sign-up

Kitchen hours are from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. Outside of those hours, we ask that guests refrain from cooking so as not to disturb sleeping guests. We want everyone getting those perfect z’s in. If you plan to cook breakfast in the morning, we only require that you refrain from using the downstairs kitchen between the hours of 7:00 am and 9:00 am, as this is where our lovely cooks will be busy preparing the breakfast we offer. If it was not included in your booking, our delicious breakfast is $7 USD per day. The menu changes daily, so take a glance - we have it posted next to our downstairs fridge. If you would like to enjoy our breakfast, just let one of our staff know, or sign yourself up on the sign-up sheet next to the menu.

Kitchen Rules

If you plan to use either of our 2 kitchens to store any food or drink - which you are more than welcome to do - we ask that you please label your items using the masking tape and marker hanging in the basket on our fridge. You can then make use of both the fridge space and the shelves next to it. While we don’t tend to house thieves (we like to think we attract a positive aura), other guests may mistake certain items for their own, or believe an item is free for communal use. We abide by a strict “if it’s not labeled, it will likely get taken” rule. Especially those unmarked beers. ;) 

After using the kitchen, we ask that you please wash any dishes you have used. We are in the jungle after all, and ants love to gather as soon as they get a taste of something good. Also, we want to ensure our kitchen and all kitchen equipment stay clean at all times for everyone to use.

Convenience Store

Last but not least, we offer a mini convenience store next to our downstairs kitchen - this is the fridge and shelf right across from the reception desk. We appreciate our guests and trust them, so this store runs on an honor system. On the shelving unit with the snacks, you will find a notepad and pen for you to start your own tab if you wish to purchase anything from the store. Prices are listed in USD on the fridge. Simply start the tab with your room number and name at the top, and list any items you have purchased (we have magnets on the fridge for you to hang your sheet). You will be able to pay for your purchases upon checkout. If you do notice at any point that your sheet has been removed from the fridge, not to worry - a member of our staff has already added your items to your booking in our system.
